User Management & SSO covers platform-level user account administration — creating and managing accounts, assigning platform roles, configuring SSO providers (SAML/OAuth2), managing staff permissions, and handling user data compliance (GDPR/FERPA data deletion).
Institutional Analytics covers platform-wide reporting and data access for administrators — enrollment trends, completion rates, course catalog performance, and organization-level learner data. This is analytics at the platform/institution level, distinct from course-level instructor analytics.
Integrations covers the mechanisms through which Open edX connects to external systems — LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability), SCORM, webhooks, enterprise system connectors, and API-based integrations with HR, CRM, and other institutional tools.
